About Me
Hello! My name is Lilah and I am obsessed with moths, bugs and all things critter.
I have been doing art my whole life and started raising moths as a hobby around 2019. During the pandemic I was sequestered at home with no job and was able to really dive head first into the hobby.
Since then I have learned a lot about insects, artwork and I continue to grow and learn more every day.
Something I focus on heavily in my business is sustainability, sourcing insects responsibly and educating about where things come from and why we should care.
I raise many of my own insects and those I don’t raise myself often come from conservation farms- one way to reduce our global footprint.
I recycle as much as possible so it is not uncommon to find odds and ends used as packaging in your order, daily newspapers, spare tissue, Styrofoam and boxes recycled from packages I have received and so forth. I am always open to answering questions about the sustainability of my artwork!
Outside of insects, I focus heavily on other natural sciences. I love critters of all kinds and love to represent them in my work. Recently I have been moving towards other avenues of artwork and am always learning new forms of media. You can find me on instagram with frequent updates about what I’m working on!

Each month I will be selecting a charity, nonprofit or other beneficial organization to support. Receipts for all donations will be posted on instagram for transparency.
January’s Charity Project
This months organization is the Ocean Conservancy! A portion of every purchase of a whale pin for the month of January will be donated to this organization.
This organization was founded in 1972 under the name Delta Organization. The Delta Organization began as a nonprofit focused on environmental education. In 2002, the Ocean Conservancy name was adopted and the rebranded organization continued key efforts to shape U.S. policy to confront the greatest challenges facing our ocean: plastic pollution, biodiversity loss and climate change.
You can read more about their work, policies and donate at the link below
In January we raised just over $200 for the Ocean Conservancy! Thanks so much for all your support!
February’s Charity Project
This months organization is The Trevor Project, a portion of every purchase of a Candy Heart Charm will be donated to this organization at the end of the month.
The Trevor Project is an organization that supports LGBTQ+ youth through crisis support, advocacy, peer support and more
Through legislation, litigation, and public education, The Trevor Project advocates for policies that help prevent suicide among LGBTQ+ young people. This includes advancing policy reforms at the federal, state, and local level to address factors that place them at a significantly higher risk of suicide.

In February we donated just over $50 to the Trevor Project!
